Who we are

This website belongs to Thapasvi Photography, a newborn, baby, maternity and events photography studio in Bangalore. When this policy says “we”, “us” or “our”, it means our studio team. You can reach us at thapasviphotography@gmail.com or on +91 91089 22465.

What the enquiry form collects

When you send an enquiry from our contact page, we receive:

• your name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address;
• the session you are interested in;
• if you choose to share them: your baby’s due date or date of birth, a preferred session date, how you heard about us, and your message.

Please only share what you are comfortable with. We never ask for payment details or ID through the website.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you book with us, to plan your session. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not use your details for advertising, and we never sell or share them with anyone else.

How it reaches us, and how long we keep it

The form sends your enquiry as an email, through the mail service of our website host, to our team's email inboxes, which are hosted by Google (Gmail). A copy may also stay in the sending mailbox on our website host. The website does not store enquiries. If the form asks you to correct a detail or to press Send once more, the page shows what you typed again so you do not have to retype it; it is not saved on our web server.

We keep enquiry emails while we are talking with you and, if you book, for as long as we need them to plan and deliver your session. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

• The contact page and the enquiry forms on our session pages set one short-lived cookie, used only to protect the form from spam and to limit how many messages can be sent in an hour. It is deleted when you close your browser.
• If you switch to the Charcoal theme, your browser remembers that choice on your device. It is never sent to us.
• Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Other services we link to

Some parts of the site connect to other companies, each with its own privacy policy:

• WhatsApp (Meta): only if you tap a WhatsApp button, which opens a chat with us in WhatsApp.
• Google Maps: the map on our contact page loads from Google only when you choose “Show the map”. “Get directions” opens Google Maps.
• Google Fonts: our typefaces load from Google’s font service, which sees your IP address when the page loads.
• Instagram and Facebook: only if you follow a link to our pages there.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. Email thapasviphotography@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp, and we will take care of it.

Details about your baby

The form can include your baby’s due date or date of birth. Please share it only as the parent or guardian. We use it only to suggest the right time for your session.

Grievances and complaints

If you have a concern or a complaint about how we have handled your details, please tell us first: email thapasviphotography@gmail.com or call +91 91089 22465, and our team will look into it.

You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Your photographs

This policy covers our website. How we store and use the photographs from your session, including whether any may be shared in our portfolio, is agreed with you when you book.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
